Ambassador Program
Do you love travel? Are you proud to be living in the San Diego area? Are you social, and love meeting and helping people? Then becoming a Travelers Aid Ambassador might be just the opportunity for you! Our Ambassadors help more than two million visitors to our region each year with advice, reservations, recommendations, and information. Shifts are available at the Santa Fe Rail Station , and the training is provided.
Volunteer Driver Program
Travelers Aid programs for older adults are always looking for volunteer drivers willing to use their vehicle and time to get clients to doctor appointments, grocery stores, or to see friends and family. This is a flexible program where drivers and clients determine the distance and time spent. For eligible rides, drivers can receive vehicle stipends for the wear and tear of their vehicles.
