Lavinia, a Senior Solutions CDBG rider, has a deep appreciation for Travelers Aid Society and the CDBG funding that made it possible for her to attend daily radiation treatments. As someone who is visually impaired, navigating transportation to frequent and critical medical appointments has been extremely difficult and, at times, nearly impossible. Through Senior Solutions, Lavinia has been able to travel safely and reliably to her treatments, giving her peace of mind and allowing her to focus on her health and recovery.
In addition to benefiting from the program herself, Lavinia has become a strong advocate for Travelers Aid Society within her community. She has helped refer dozens of her neighbors to our services, ensuring others facing similar barriers can access the transportation and support they need. Her gratitude and willingness to help others reflect the meaningful impact of the program on both individuals and the broader community.
